Barrier+ · about every 21 days
Our most popular service. This conventional residual spray targets shrubs, leaf undersides, dense vegetation, and shaded areas where mosquitoes rest. A sticking additive makes Barrier+ rain resistant and helps the treatment hold up through normal rainfall.
Interested in a permanent, automated installation? Ask us about a misting system, the upkeep involved, and whether it makes sense for your outdoor space.
An advance service notification helps you plan. Your technician also sends an on-the-way text before arriving. You can share questions or access notes ahead of the visit.
The advance heads-up
Example message: “Your AMC Mosquito visit is planned for tomorrow. Have a question or a note for your technician? Let us know.”
The on-the-way text
Example message: “Hi, it’s your AMC Mosquito technician. I’m on my way and expect to arrive in about 30 minutes.”
04Your first service
Let’s walk the yard together.
Feel free to join us. Your observations help our technician understand the property before treatment begins.
Look at the whole yard
We inspect shady resting zones, dense planting, standing water, and the places where you notice bites. That helps us decide where to treat.
Address standing water
We check standing-water conditions at every service visit, not just the first. We empty or remove water where practical and use an appropriate larvicide where the source calls for it. Ponds, drains, planters, and play items need different handling.
Begin the selected service
We apply the chosen treatment or establish the station plan around your property’s conditions, access notes, and product requirements.
05What sets our treatment apart
Our “secret” formula.
The products behind the process
It’s what goes in that makes a difference.
Three major components. One thoughtful treatment. Our Barrier+ approach combines immediate knockdown, rain resistance, and targeted protection that helps interrupt the mosquito life cycle, because what goes into your treatment matters.
First visits and re-treatments include a knockdown treatment to reduce adult mosquitoes present at the time of application.
+Help the treatment hold
Rain Resistance
A sticking additive helps the Barrier+ application adhere to treated surfaces and supports the residual treatment through outdoor conditions. Careful product selection is part of the service.
+Interrupt the life cycle
Life Cycle Control
Our first-visit protocol includes targeted protection that helps stop immature mosquitoes from developing into biting adults.
06Beyond the easy-to-reach spots
A closer look at breeding sites.
Some water is difficult to reach directly, including water in gutters and downspouts. In2Care uses mosquitoes themselves to carry larvicide from a station to other breeding water they visit, including sites beyond the immediate treatment area.
That transfer is why stations can complement a spray plan. We’ll help you decide whether stations fit your yard and how they can work alongside your selected service.
Let us know about locked gates, access restrictions, and areas you want to discuss before treatment.
Gardens & water
Point out edible plants, flowering areas, ponds, and other features that need specific attention in the service plan.
Children & pets
Our treatments are safe for children and pets when applied as directed. Just keep them away from treated areas while we’re spraying and until the product has fully dried. Once dry, they can return to the yard and enjoy it as usual.
Where activity happens
Tell us where mosquitoes interrupt your outdoor routine. That helps us know where to look.
08Following up
All set. We’ll keep in touch.
Let the spray dry
Wait approximately one hour after spray treatment before children or pets return to treated areas, allowing the application to dry. Follow any different instructions from your technician for the product or property.
Your recurring schedule
We return about every 21 days for Barrier+ and every 14 days for Organic+. We also maintain In2Care stations. We take care of the routine without an annual contract.
If mosquito activity remains a problem between qualifying scheduled visits, reach out for a free re-treatment. We’ll discuss what you’re seeing and the next step for your plan.
